Quality Assurance Engineer (Python & AI-Driven Testing)

About the role

Join Nokia's Optical Networks division and help deliver high‑capacity telecom solutions in an AI‑driven data‑center era. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will embed quality from design through delivery, working within a supportive international Scrum team. The role offers mentorship and hands‑on experience with Python automation and cutting‑edge AI testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning and reviews, contributing a quality‑first mindset.
• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and pytest aligned with CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply AI‑assisted testing techniques, leveraging LLMs for test case generation, pattern analysis and defect analysis.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve complex system bugs.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Physics or related field (graduates/final‑year students welcome).
• Solid foundation in Python programming through academic projects, internships or personal work.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, logical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Fluent English and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• High interest in software quality, test automation and AI‑enhanced tools.
