Senior Manager Human Resources Western Europe

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Human Resources to lead people strategies across Western Europe. The role combines advisory work on compensation, benefits and recruiting with the management of complex HR projects such as restructuring, integration and start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Consult on Compensation & Benefits and Recruiting Services while supporting strategic initiatives like restructuring, integration and start‑ups.
• Functionally manage and mentor an HR team operating across multiple countries and business units.
• Improve HR processes, foster cross‑divisional collaboration and ensure compliance with LGBS and LH Group policies.
• Act as the primary contact for business partners on HR services and process excellence.
• Oversee external service providers, including payroll, global mobility and legal partners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree with vocational aeronautical training.
• 5+ years of management experience in a complex, cross‑functional virtual HR environment (or equivalent vocational training plus 7‑8+ years HR experience).
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong diplomacy, negotiation and intercultural awareness.
• Analytical mindset with creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Unrestricted, indefinite work eligibility in Portugal.
