Senior HR Business Partner – Portugal

About the role

We are looking for an experienced senior‑level HR Business Partner to join our Portugal team. The role acts as a strategic and trusted advisor to senior leaders, driving the full HR agenda while also taking partial ownership of Talent Acquisition for the location.

Key responsibilities

• Act as strategic partner and trusted advisor to senior leaders on all HR topics, identifying interdependencies and risks.
• Lead and shape the local HR agenda, translating global strategy into pragmatic solutions for Portugal.
• Partner with managers on complex employee‑relations matters, conduct investigations and liaise with legal counsel.
• Manage senior and business‑critical hiring end‑to‑end and serve as escalation point for local recruitment.
• Collaborate with Centres of Expertise on performance management, talent reviews and workforce planning.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of HR documentation and employee data in line with local labour law and GDPR.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive HR experience, including 6‑8 years as a senior HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour law and local HR practices.
• Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills with ability to influence senior and C‑level leaders.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic mindset with high confidentiality and sound judgment.
