People Operations Specialist

About the role

As a People Operations Specialist at Air Apps, you will be at the core of HR and recruiting operations, ensuring smooth delivery of recruitment, onboarding, and employee support processes. This fully onsite position collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain a compliant, people‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day HR tasks such as payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management.
• Clarify HR policies, respond to employee inquiries, and support internal HR initiatives and communications.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment tasks including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and pipeline tracking.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics to ensure new hires integrate smoothly.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or consultancy environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, especially Ashby.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
• Experience supporting HR operations such as payroll and benefits.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Portuguese labor law is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Portuguese proficiency is a bonus.
