Senior Fullstack Engineer – Growth

About the role

Join the Growth team at Primer, which owns merchant onboarding and activation. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will lead frontend architecture while also contributing to the Python backend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead frontend architecture and technical direction for the self‑serve onboarding and platform experience.
• Partner closely with Design to take onboarding and platform experience from concept to production.
• Mentor and raise the bar for engineers, serving as the go‑to frontend mentor.
• Set frontend conventions and quality standards, including architecture reviews and testing approaches.
• Contribute to the Python backend when needed to unblock frontend work or ship features end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• Strong, proven frontend expertise with production experience architecting complex applications.
• Comfortable being the most senior frontend voice, able to push back on design or product when necessary.
• Some backend experience and willingness to work in a Python codebase.
• Experience mentoring other engineers, especially junior team members.
