Analytics Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our newly formed Business Analytics team, working closely with Engineering, Operations & Product teams to design and build analytical models for premium enterprise clients and internal data users, driving impactful business decisions and enabling self‑service analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development and maintenance of ETL pipelines and data models using SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI and Tableau, leading user engagement with large clients and internal users.
• Transform, analyze, and optimise large quantitative and qualitative data sets.
• Own reporting processes ensuring accuracy, reliability, strong governance and version control.
• Test, refine analytical scoring, user behaviour, product performance to identify trends, opportunities and set relevant KPIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and ops analysts to provide data‑driven insights.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python for relational databases such as Redshift, S3 and SQL Server.
• Several years of experience with ETL/ELT processes and APIs using tools like dbt, Airflow, and Talend.
• Proficiency with BI visualisation tools, especially Power BI, Tableau and Metabase.
• Good knowledge of data modelling and transformation techniques within data pipelines.
• Self‑starter mindset, proactive problem‑solving and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude toward learning.
