Senior Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics (Puerto Rico)

About the role

The Senior Data Scientist will lead advanced analytics projects for the Puerto Rico Operations Organization, partnering with commercial insights, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and IT teams. You will develop analytical models and deliver insights that drive AI‑enabled optimization, resource planning, and validation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end analytics projects, from problem definition to model deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Design and implement data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings.
• Innovate using machine learning and AI techniques to create measurable business impact.
• Support non‑standard shifts when critical activities arise.

Required profile

• Strong technical, analytical, and operational background in a regulated (GMP) environment.
• Experience with validation lifecycle activities, documentation, and data integrity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Required skills

• Data analytics and visualization tools: Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, JMP, Minitab.
• Programming/automation: Python, AI‑assisted coding tools, Power Automate, scripting, database basics.
• Statistical analysis and process evaluation.
• Knowledge of GMP expectations and validation documentation.
