Senior Cybersecurity Expert

About the role

Oney is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Expert to lead the protection of its digital ecosystem. You will shape the security strategy, guide risk mitigation, and drive a culture of security across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and standards.
• Lead risk assessments, security maturity evaluations, and compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIS2.
• Advise senior leadership on emerging threats and strategic mitigation priorities.
• Oversee threat intelligence, monitoring, detection, and incident response using SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools.
• Lead complex incident investigations and coordinate remediation with internal and external teams.
• Design and validate secure architectures for cloud, on‑premise, and hybrid environments.
• Manage the secure development lifecycle, vulnerability management, penetration testing cycles, and Red/Blue Team exercises.
• Integrate fraud intelligence to support fraud‑prevention strategies.
• Mentor analysts and engineers, fostering a security‑first mindset.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical risks into business language.
• Strategic thinker with solid analytical, problem‑solving, and resilience abilities.
• Experience managing external vendors and cybersecurity partners.
