Senior Chef de Partie

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a luxury residential community in Comporta, Portugal. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous‑Chef to deliver high‑quality dishes in a world‑class resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and manage daily ingredient availability.
• Place orders efficiently and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
• Support the Executive Chef and Sous‑Chef by following their guidance and standards.
• Propose new dish presentations, procedures and process improvements.
• Maintain kitchen productivity with a focus on speed and food quality.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie with strong mastery of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and modern culinary practices.
• Ability to multitask, manage time under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Resilience during peak periods, long hours and high‑stress environments.
