Senior CAD Designer – Console & IP (Cockpit)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join international OEM projects focused on vehicle interiors. The role involves developing and evolving plastic components for consoles, instrument panels, and cockpit systems, primarily working remotely with regular trips to Paris for technical meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CAD models of interior components and assemblies using CATIA V5.
• Design and iterate plastic parts for console, IP, and cockpit systems.
• Integrate and validate geometrical fit within the vehicle environment.
• Participate in technical reviews and follow‑up activities.
• Coordinate modifications with clients, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Resolve design issues and propose feasible solutions.
• Ensure compliance with OEM technical, industrial, and quality standards.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation related to CAD development.
• Support industrialization and technical maturation of interior components.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of product development experience in the automotive sector.
• Proven experience designing plastic parts for vehicle interiors.
• Previous work on Renault or Stellantis projects.
• Ability to work in multicultural, international environments and travel frequently to France.
• Strong autonomous problem‑solving and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in CATIA V5.
• Expertise in plastic part design.
