Operations Manager – Wind Energy (Portugal Hub)

About the role

You will take overall operational responsibility for the rotor‑blade service business in Portugal, supporting the Managing Director in day‑to‑day operations and leading the service department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rotor‑blade service department and provide functional leadership to employees and service teams.
• Provide mobile support to service technicians, ensuring quality assurance at wind‑farm sites.
• Plan and coordinate personnel, equipment and other operational resources, guaranteeing accurate and timely repair reports.
• Identify training needs in collaboration with QHSE and the Managing Director.
• Monitor and report operational KPIs and quality assessments.
• Work closely with the German headquarters, advising on operational matters and helping develop the blade business and additional service areas.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in rotor‑blade repair on wind turbines.
• Proven experience leading employees and service teams with a strong commitment to quality.
• Experience in planning and coordinating operational resources.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, resilience and assertiveness.
• Fluent English, comfortable in professional and negotiation settings.
• Willingness to travel regularly to wind‑farm sites, including internationally.
