Senior Buyer – Electronics

About the role

Drive and shape global procurement strategies for electronic components in the automotive sector, ensuring supply continuity and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement consolidation and standardisation strategies based on data analysis and market insights.
• Manage supplier lifecycle activities, including ramp‑up and ramp‑down phases, to mitigate risks.
• Optimise supplier networks by developing innovative sourcing strategies and alternative solutions.
• Lead bottleneck management to guarantee material availability and minimise production disruptions.
• Negotiate frame contracts and oversee sourcing processes from supplier selection to project award.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholders up to executive level.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain within the automotive industry, including supplier management and strategic sourcing.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of procurement strategies and supply‑chain processes.
• Negotiation skills (advantageous).
