Security Engineer – Application Services

About the role

Adnovum is expanding its interdisciplinary team in Zurich and Portugal and seeks a Security Engineer to focus on application services. You will work closely with software and security specialists, supporting and operating security platforms for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and integrate digital identity security solutions into customer environments as part of project teams.
• Implement, test and approve change requests and releases, providing 2nd and 3rd level support for operational issues.
• Operate, control and monitor security solutions both in the cloud and on‑site, including proactive monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, network protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S) and experience with containers and cloud platforms.
• Interest in security processes, master data management and secure interface design.

Required skills

• Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, TLS, HTTP/S.
• Containers and cloud platforms.
• Scripting/programming: MSSQL, PowerShell, Angular, Java, VB.NET, JavaScript.
• CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions.
