Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive will represent our company in the Puerto Rico market, presenting insurance and health services to prospective clients and guiding them through the full sales cycle. The role focuses on generating new business, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring compliance with underwriting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients and market segments to expand business opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations showcasing products and services.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with producers, insurance agencies, and direct clients.
• Participate in sales initiatives and training to improve product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategies to generate new business and referrals.
• Receive, verify, and analyze sales documents for commercial groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Submit complete cases with required documentation to the Underwriting Department.
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, and status reports.
• Meet targets for calls, visits, quotations, and sales to drive growth.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional organizations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least three years of sales or account management experience, preferably in the healthcare insurance industry.
• Valid driver’s license for Puerto Rico and a Life & Disability Insurance Agent License and Health Services License (or commitment to obtain within two attempts).
• Own a reliable vehicle for travel across Puerto Rico.
• Advanced Spanish and intermediate English communication skills.
