Ruby Developer

About the role

Inetum, a European leader in digital services with 28,000 consultants and specialists, is looking for a Ruby Developer to join its team in Aveiro. The Ruby Developer designs, develops and maintains high-quality web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to create innovative solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
• Perform code reviews and give constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Ruby Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and strong communication skills.

• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• RESTful APIs and web services
• Preferred: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Git and Agile methodologies

The work model is hybrid, with three days at the office.
