About the role
Bosch Aveiro, part of the Bosch Group, hosts one of its largest production sites for Bosch Home Comfort and a Research and Development Centre for residential heating solutions. This extracurricular internship offers a Gateway Firmware Engineer position, where you join the software development process from requirements definition through to software maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Refine requirements
- Design, develop and test firmware in C/C++
- Document the software technically, especially safety-related parts
- Support team members and users integrating the software into their products, including testing and issue resolution
Required profile
- Completed BSc or MSc in Embedded Software or equivalent
- Experience developing software in C/C++ or similar languages within the ESP32 ecosystem
- English proficiency
- Proactive, independent, entrepreneurial and quality-sensitive attitude
