Revenue Accountant

About the role

The Revenue Accountant will manage revenue accounting for the In Vitro business portfolio, ensuring accurate contract assessment, order entry, and revenue recognition in line with IFRS standards. You will work closely with finance, controlling, and audit teams to maintain data integrity and support continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess In Vitro/Diagnostics contracts according to IFRS15, IFRS16 and internal accounting principles.
• Record order entries, monitor order backlog, and participate in the revenue recognition process.
• Maintain the integrity of financial key figures such as order entry, revenue, and costs.
• Liaise with Finance Head, Controlling, Accounting HUB and other stakeholders to discuss business cases.
• Provide financial information to external auditors during quarter‑ and year‑end closings.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, management or accounting.
• Significant professional experience in revenue accounting or related finance functions.
• Strong understanding of commercial contract execution, value flows and key financial figures.
• Excellent analytical abilities, structured work approach and strong affinity for numbers.
• Very good written and spoken English.
