Data Quality Trainee

About the role

Under the guidance of a Senior Analyst, the Data Quality Trainee will support day‑to‑day data‑quality activities in a regulated banking environment, learning the full data‑governance lifecycle and developing technical and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and escalate data‑quality anomalies under senior supervision.
• Support periodic data‑quality controls, including running early‑detection scripts pre‑close and contributing to residual‑issue analysis post‑close.
• Prepare methodological documentation and disseminate best‑practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with Credit Portfolio Analysis and Strategic Risk Analysis teams to provide status updates.
• Monitor action plans for structural data‑quality issues, coordinating with Finance, Risk, IT and Data Office contacts.
• Contribute to impact analyses of ongoing projects on data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
• Advanced level of English, both written and oral.
• Attention to detail, rigor and adaptability.
• Proactive attitude with basic project‑management awareness.
