Retail Sourcing Specialist

About the role

Join TJX Companies as a Retail Sourcing Specialist and support our Global Buying Offices in identifying exciting products for our off‑price stores worldwide. You will work closely with buyers, manufacturers, and suppliers to bring fresh, on‑trend merchandise to market.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing product and market trend research to spot new opportunities.
• Gather information on product availability, pricing, and order status from suppliers.
• Attend trade shows to evaluate products and emerging trends.
• Communicate sourcing opportunities to buyers for evaluation and potential purchase.
• Coordinate buyer trips, schedule manufacturer visits, and accompany buyers during selection and negotiation.
• Place and monitor orders, providing clear instructions on manufacturing, preparation, and shipment.
• Notify management of any issues that could affect timelines.

Required profile

• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Extensive knowledge of brands, product categories, and manufacturers gained through hands‑on experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Comfortable with frequent national and international travel.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
