Regional Recruiter – Europe & Central Asia

About the role

The Regional Recruiter will join the HR Regional Corporate Services Hub in Lisbon, supporting 83 British embassies, high commissions and consulates across Europe and Central Asia. You will lead end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns, partner with hiring managers and ensure HR policies are applied consistently while being locally appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers across the regional network to understand recruitment needs and provide expert guidance.
• Design and manage recruitment processes from advertising to offer, using appropriate methodologies and tools.
• Maintain high service standards, meeting defined response times and quality metrics.
• Provide advice on HR policies, ensuring global consistency and local relevance.
• Collaborate with the central International HR team and local embassy stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing or recruitment role.
• Resilient, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns across different markets.
