Refrigeration Engineer – Hybrid (Aveiro)

About the role

Join Bosch's Home Comfort division in Aveiro as a Refrigeration Engineer. You will lead the development and testing of advanced heat‑pump and refrigeration solutions, working in a hybrid environment that blends on‑site collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, documenting results according to internal standards.
• Design, document, and support functional test procedures optimized for mass production.
• Draft and maintain technical product documentation.
• Participate in cross‑functional design reviews and FMEA sessions.
• Drive quality improvements, cost‑reduction initiatives, and performance optimisations across existing heat‑pump product ranges.
• Create innovative functionalities using advanced refrigeration and hydraulic components.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven hands‑on experience setting up, conducting, and evaluating complex developmental tests.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Highly structured, analytical, and detail‑oriented approach.
• Collaborative team player comfortable in multicultural, cross‑functional environments.
