Recruiting Coordinator – Early Careers (German speaking) – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Join Mercer’s Human Capital team in Lisbon to support graduate and intern recruitment programmes for Germany and Austria. This hybrid position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week, working closely with recruiters, hiring managers and HR Operations to deliver a seamless candidate experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate interviews, assessment centres and recruitment activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Review CVs, support candidate screening and manage communications throughout the recruitment process.
• Prepare employment contracts, offer letters and assist with onboarding new hires.
• Maintain accurate recruitment data in Workday and other HR systems while ensuring compliance.
• Contribute to campus recruitment activities and other talent‑acquisition projects as needed.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition or HR coordination.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Workday or another HR information system.
