React Engineer – Build AI‑Powered Front‑End Experiences

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a React Engineer to create responsive, accessible user interfaces for its AI‑driven Personal & Entrepreneurial Resource Planner. You will work onsite in Lisbon, collaborating closely with designers, product managers and backend engineers to turn wireframes into stable, scalable front‑end experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Implement high‑quality, responsive UI components based on design specifications, ensuring cross‑browser and device compatibility.
• Develop and maintain front‑end code using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular) along with HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design principles.
• Optimize performance, improve page load times and rendering efficiency.
• Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between client and server.
• Apply WCAG accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
• Write unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests (Jest, Cypress) and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Approximately 3+ years of front‑end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.

Required skills

• React (or Vue.js / Angular) framework experience.
• Front‑end build tools such as Webpack or Rollup.
• Version control with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing frameworks: Jest and Cypress.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API integration.
