Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a luxury residential community in Comporta, Portugal. You will play a key part in managing project costs and supporting commercial activities across our high‑end development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities and tender documentation.
• Manage project costs, variations, valuations and interim/final accounts.
• Support commercial management activities, including claims handling and risk identification.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Produce regular cost reports and ensure compliance with legal, quality and safety standards.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience on major or international construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of measurement standards and construction regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and construction systems (BIM/Civil 3D a plus).
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and build strong relationships.
• Flexibility to work across office, client and site environments with required travel.
