Trainee Electrical Engineer – Overhead Lines

About the role

Join Quadrante’s Energy Business Unit as a Trainee Electrical Engineer focused on Overhead Lines. You will work on transmission and distribution projects, contributing to design, analysis and delivery while gaining international exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new, uprated and refurbished overhead transmission and distribution line projects.
• Design efficient technical solutions that comply with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and project specifications, coordinating with the assigned project team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise designs and ensure timely project execution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Energy.
• Interest in overhead line projects, including transmission, distribution networks and substation connections.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, PLS‑CADD, Civil 3D or equivalent.
• Strong communication, teamwork abilities and a sense of responsibility and autonomy.
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
