Quality Auditor – Night Shift

About the role

The Quality Auditor works the night shift to ensure that all parts produced meet the required quality specifications. You will be the first point of contact for quality issues, coordinating with production, suppliers and the laboratory to maintain product integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Approve first and last parts according to product quality specifications.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis following the control plan.
• Evaluate production doubts, analyse non‑conforming parts and decide on re‑work, scrap or further testing.
• Open quality alerts, manage containment actions and block suspect parts.
• Coordinate incoming inspection with supplier quality teams when raw‑material defects are found.
• Prepare daily hand‑over reports on quality issues.
• Execute sampling controls, ensure PPAP part production and manage master parts with the laboratory.
• Perform 5S and LPA audits and support multi‑skilling validation.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education.
• 1‑3 years of experience in quality auditing, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Fluent Portuguese.
• Strong understanding of environmental, health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of 8D methodology and 5 Whys (plus).
• Proficiency with measurement instruments: steel ruler, caliper, micrometer, comparator, multimeter, screw‑thread micrometer, feeler gauge.
