QC Laboratory Technician

About the role

Lilly is seeking a QC Laboratory Technician to support critical quality control work that ensures medicines are delivered safely and efficiently to patients. This full‑time, onsite position involves performing microbiological testing and maintaining compliance with stringent industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and verify microbiological tests on raw material, final product, water, and environmental samples.
• Identify microorganisms, promote growth, and conduct electrophoresis and phage detection.
• Ensure all activities comply with established standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as pH meters and analytical balances.
• Follow performance‑behavior guidelines in daily interactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or associate degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, Natural Sciences, Chemistry or Biology.
• Minimum two years of laboratory experience or related field.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Experience with pH meters, balances and other lab equipment.
• Familiarity with microbiology techniques such as filtration and media preparation.
• Availability for rotating 24/7 shifts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
