Product Engineer – AI & Biotechnology

About the role

The company is seeking a Product Engineer based in Portugal to create innovative products at the crossroads of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and decentralized science. You will turn cutting‑edge AI capabilities into usable tools that help users explore complex health and biological data, delivering fast‑moving, user‑focused MVPs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and launch user‑facing applications that connect advanced AI models with real‑world health and biology use cases.
• Rapidly prototype MVPs, iterate based on user feedback, and measure product value.
• Create integrations with external data sources such as health platforms, electronic health records and biological databases.
• Translate complex, non‑deterministic AI outputs into clear, actionable user interfaces.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept, architecture, deployment to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with AI research engineers and product stakeholders to identify opportunities and shape user experiences.
• Navigate technical uncertainty and build practical solutions with evolving requirements.

Required profile

• Product‑minded full‑stack engineer who enjoys rapid experimentation and shipping impactful products.
• Proven track record of building and launching products actively used by customers or end users.
• Strong focus on frontend development and delivering intuitive user experiences.
