Procurement Business Improvement & Strategy Manager

About the role

The Procurement Business Improvement & Strategy Manager will drive key strategic initiatives and business improvement projects within Airbus' ASA Procurement function. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to shape and implement the procurement strategy aligned with Airbus' overall goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the strategy team in defining and implementing the ASA Procurement strategy.
• Manage the procurement strategy cycle, ensuring alignment with Airbus and Airbus Aerostructures objectives.
• Lead or follow‑up on strategic projects and management initiatives.
• Coordinate strategy‑related communication, create guidelines, provide status updates and conduct awareness sessions.
• Define ways of working and act as the central procurement interface for internal stakeholders and external functions.
• Develop and implement improvement ideas, new processes, and digital solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in procurement, supply chain, industrial engineering, business management or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in procurement, strategy development or a related area.
• Strong business, analytical and strategic mindset.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, open‑minded attitude with solid negotiation skills in English.
• Project management experience and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
