Performance and Compensation Specialist

About the role

Join Sonae Sierra’s HR team in Lisbon as a Performance and Compensation Specialist. You will support the design, execution, and continuous improvement of performance and reward processes, providing data‑driven insights that shape compensation decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution and improvement of Performance & Compensation processes and policies.
• Analyze compensation, performance, and HR data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and data analyses to monitor HR metrics.
• Participate in performance review cycles, salary reviews, and bonus administration.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across HR systems and reporting tools.
• Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analyses.
• Work with large datasets to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to deliver data‑driven support.
• Prepare clear presentations and materials for varied audiences.
• Contribute to automation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives within HR.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, Performance, HR Analytics, People Analytics, Reward, or similar analytical roles.
• Degree in Management, Economics, Human Resources, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage priorities autonomously.
• Effective communication skills for presenting data clearly.
• Collaborative attitude and experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in international or fast‑paced environments is a plus.
