People Experience Advisor Intern

About the role

Unit4 is looking for a People Experience Advisor Intern to join its Shared Services Center in Lisbon. This role offers hands‑on experience in modern HR practices, supporting global People Experience operations and helping shape employee experience across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Support administrative tasks related to the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, time and absence management, off‑boarding and document generation.
• Assist with payroll activities, including input preparation, gross‑to‑net analysis and payroll approval.
• Respond to employee queries professionally and clearly.
• Follow standardized HR processes and escalate complex issues to senior Advisors or Payroll Specialists.
• Enter and maintain data in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Help create and update process documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with People Experience colleagues across regions to ensure consistent support.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Strong interest in HR and a passion for supporting employees.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
• Previous work experience in any area is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
