People & Data Operations Specialist – French Speaker

About the role

Join Thales' HR Shared Service Center in Lisbon and become the friendly first point of contact for employees and managers across multiple countries. You will support French‑speaking HR operations, ensuring a smooth and high‑quality employee experience from onboarding through everyday HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for employees and managers on all HR‑related queries.
• Guide new joiners through the entire onboarding journey, from offer letter to first day and beyond.
• Maintain HR systems, guaranteeing data accuracy and quality.
• Support international teams with onboarding, mobility, and day‑to‑day HR processes.
• Prepare HR letters, reports and documents that simplify employee interactions.
• Participate in HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in HR, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Fluency in French is mandatory for supporting HR activities in France.
• Strong, clear and approachable communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure to processes.
• Enjoy working with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience using HR platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow (a plus).
