Paralegal – Federal Litigation Support (Remote, Puerto Rico)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time paralegal to support federal litigation matters for a rapidly expanding plaintiff‑side law firm. The role is 100 % remote and requires residence in Puerto Rico.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with federal court filings, including drafting, proofreading, and formatting pleadings, motions, exhibits, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research, draft complaints, and prepare tables of contents and authorities for filings.
• Maintain case files, litigation calendars, deadlines, and digital document organization.
• Coordinate with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and co‑counsel to advance litigation matters efficiently.
• Support discovery, document production, and ensure compliance with federal court rules and filing procedures.
• Participate in process‑improvement and legal‑operations initiatives.

Required profile

• Must reside in Puerto Rico and be available to work weekdays during normal business hours.
• Prior experience supporting federal court litigation in a law‑firm environment.
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Word formatting, including creation of tables of contents and tables of authorities.
