OT Technician – Industrial IT Support

About the role

The OT Technician will provide technical support for operational technology systems used on the shop floor. You will work closely with production, maintenance, automation and IT teams to keep industrial applications and networks running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support OT systems such as industrial PCs, SCADA/MES interfaces, and data‑collection applications.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain industrial networks, including IP addressing, NAT, port forwarding and basic firewall rules.
• Ensure high availability of production‑line applications and resolve incidents quickly.
• Diagnose network connectivity, application behaviour and system performance issues.
• Participate in deployment, upgrade and lifecycle management of OT assets.
• Maintain compliance with OT cybersecurity and industrial standards.
• Document configurations, incidents and standard operating procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of OT support processes and digitalisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Industrial IT, Automation, Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in OT, industrial IT or technical support within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial networks (TCP/IP, NAT, port forwarding).
• Familiarity with manufacturing companies, automotive sector a plus.
• English proficiency at B2‑C1 level.
