Operations Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

Mirabilis Hospitality is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations across two of its flagship properties – LX LIVING in Amoreiras, Lisbon and the newly opened Hotel São Julião in Carcavelos. The role splits time between the two sites and requires a hands‑on, guest‑focused leader who can maintain high standards while coordinating multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of both LX LIVING and Hotel São Julião, ensuring rooms, apartments and public areas are clean, functional and guest‑ready.
• Conduct regular property walks, inspections and quality‑control reviews.
• Monitor maintenance, housekeeping, and building presentation, addressing issues promptly.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, front office, laundry, suppliers and external partners.
• Manage stock control, amenities, linen, keys, access systems and operational supplies.
• Support guest arrivals, departures, requests, complaints and issue resolution, acting as escalation point when needed.
• Supervise shift teams, ensure clear handovers and smooth inter‑department communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality operations, comfortable with shift work and weekend schedules.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work across multiple properties.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on delivering consistent guest experiences.
