Mobile Engineer (Flutter & Kotlin)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to empower small and medium-sized businesses across Europe by building and enhancing Teya’s mobile applications. You will develop cross-platform solutions using Flutter and Kotlin, delivering secure, scalable and user-friendly experiences for merchants.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications with Flutter and Kotlin.
• Write clean, maintainable and secure code addressing complex business problems.
• Integrate various APIs and SDKs, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
• Implement offline capabilities, secure data storage, push notifications and deep linking.
• Support internationalisation/localisation and seamless app upgrades.
• Collaborate with design, product and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Participate in architecture design, framework selection and tool evaluation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, scalable logging and observability practices.
• Mentor team members and promote a collaborative growth-oriented environment.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing mobile applications using Flutter and Kotlin.
• Strong ability to integrate APIs and SDKs and to deliver performant, scalable solutions.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing to architectural decisions.
• Ability to mentor and support fellow engineers.
