Mid-level Frontend Developer (Hybrid – Braga, Portugal)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated Frontend Developer to join its hybrid team in Braga. You will work on diverse client projects, turning UX designs into high‑quality, user‑centric web interfaces while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using core frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Implement features with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, Playwright or Cypress.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate visual concepts into functional components.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user‑centric design implementation.
• Good command of English for communication with international teams.
• Residency in Portugal and ability to work on‑site in Braga a few days per week.
