Marketing, Communication & Social Media Executive (Hotel)

About the role

The Marketing, Communication and Social Media Executive will support the two Tivoli hotels in Alvor and Carvoeiro, reporting to the General Managers, PR and Brand Directors, and the Algarve Marketing & Communications Manager. The role combines strategic planning, content creation, and day‑to‑day brand stewardship across both properties.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining and implementing the marketing and PR plan for both hotels under the guidance of the central team.
• Prepare marketing and communications presentations for business reviews.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and payment processes for hotel marketing activities.
• Act as project manager and main contact for design and PR agencies.
• Develop stationery, collateral and other marketing materials.
• Ensure brand identity consistency across all touchpoints.
• Audit and manage content on online and offline platforms.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, packages and hotel photo/video shoots.
• Write copy and perform short translations between English and Portuguese.
• Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) for both hotels, creating content, handling community management, coordinating influencers and running META paid campaigns.
• Oversee F&B outlet social media in collaboration with a local agency.
• Create press releases, organise press trips and support sponsorship and partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant experience in Marketing and Communications.
• Strong organisational and priority‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinking aligned with brand positioning and business goals.
• Service‑oriented, proactive, autonomous and flexible.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Creative sense of aesthetics; hospitality or luxury experience is a plus.
