Maintenance Technician – Warehouse (1‑year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work in our Porto warehouse, repairing and refurbishing smart lockers and their components. The role is hands‑on, bench‑based and focuses on ensuring lockers are ready for redeployment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily mechanical and electrical repairs on lockers, diagnosing faults and restoring full functionality.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired units before they are cleared for deployment.
• Repair, replace and connect low‑voltage and electronic components using technical documentation.
• Verify quality of electrical installations and maintain accurate repair records.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory: track usage, organize components and flag low‑stock items.
• Follow warehouse health‑and‑safety procedures and keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Document interventions, prepare post‑repair reports and suggest process improvements.
• Assist the Operations Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and support deployment readiness.

Required profile

• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Hands‑on experience repairing electrical, electronic or mechanical equipment.
• Experience handling spare parts and managing inventory.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and data‑entry tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Commitment to health‑and‑safety processes in a warehouse environment.
