Logistics Specialist

About the role

CALB is seeking a Logistics Specialist to lead and support import/export operations for equipment, materials, and batteries. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing customs processes, and supporting the company’s global clean‑energy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute import/export operations for equipment, materials, and batteries.
• Develop and maintain import/export compliance systems, SOPs, and workflows.
• Oversee quality and compliance audits for customer‑related customs operations.
• Manage customs financial processes, including budgeting, cost accruals, invoice verification, and payment requests.
• Evaluate and manage performance of customs service providers such as brokers and agents.
• Monitor customs policies/regulations and maintain relationships with customs authorities.
• Handle international cargo insurance declarations and manage claims settlement.
• Identify customs risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve operational exceptions.
• Assist in customs budgeting and procurement/tendering for international freight forwarders.
• Conduct regular customs operational analyses and prepare management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or a related field (preferred).
• More than 3 years of experience in import/export operations.
• Experience with overseas greenfield projects or plant setup is highly preferred.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (both spoken and written); Mandarin is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Detail‑oriented, highly accountable, strong team spirit and ability to perform under pressure.
