Logistic Manager

About the role

TSL is seeking a proactive Logistic Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end flow of construction materials and equipment across its projects in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. The role ensures timely delivery, optimal storage, and compliance with health, safety and environmental standards while supporting the company’s commitment to efficient, high‑quality project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate procurement, transportation, and storage of construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure materials arrive on‑site on schedule to avoid project delays.
• Track and manage inventory levels, maintaining accurate stock records.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to streamline logistics processes.
• Oversee scheduling and routing of transportation for materials and personnel.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers and procurement teams.
• Develop and implement site logistics plans to optimise workflow.
• Maintain organised, accessible storage areas.
• Ensure logistics activities comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Secure permits required for material transportation and site access.
• Manage logistics budgets and track related expenses.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and transport providers.

Required profile

• Experience handling and managing subcontractors and suppliers, with a strong focus on quality assurance and client certification.
• Background in construction logistics and the ability to maintain strict delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication skills at all organisational levels.
• Hands‑on attitude with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
