About the role
The Lead EHS Supervisor will direct and enhance Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across a manufacturing operation, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and maintain MEHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Provide training and guidance on MEHS requirements to all employees.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Support sustainability initiatives and waste‑reduction projects.
- Supervise and develop EHS technicians, offering guidance and teamwork.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 + years of EHS experience with supervisory responsibility.
- Experience in a diverse manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
