Quality Technician – 2nd Shift

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Technician to work the second shift on the production floor. The technician will support the Quality Engineer or Supervisor in daily activities, ensuring non‑conforming parts are identified, contained, and resolved.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in Tier 1 reporting of daily rejections and yield versus targets.
• Assist in Tier 2 investigations when required, focusing on material that does not meet specifications.
• Inspect, document, and report non‑conforming components via email, providing evidence and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain control of Material Not Conforming (MNC) in designated cages and implement MRB processes.
• Support final inspection and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects such as checklist updates, visual aids, Kaizen events, and tooling improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and internal audit requirements.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Good communication skills to report findings to supervisors and suppliers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a shift environment and attend meetings with department personnel.
