Junior Finance Analyst

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join its Finance Team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will help improve financial processes, support decision‑making and ensure accurate reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, marketing, procurement and commercial teams to drive profitable execution.
• Reconcile management reports with financial statements and support month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Implement standardized procedures and leverage AI tools for process optimisation.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Compare actual results with business plans and forecasts, delivering YoY, MoM and budget variance insights.
• Act as the finance point‑of‑contact for the Commercial team, providing operational support and insights.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, controlling, FP&A or auditing within a multinational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Self‑driven, organized, detail‑oriented and able to prioritize tasks autonomously.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of SAP (a plus).
