Junior Data Engineer

About the role

Quanteam, the founding entity of Rainbow Partners, is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join its Lisbon office. You will work in a hybrid setting, supporting credit risk data pipelines for banking and financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, ingest, prepare, and clean large volumes of credit risk data using Dataiku DSS, PySpark, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Perform data quality checks and consolidate data within a robust analytical framework for quarterly database production.
• Support stress‑testing activities by analysing credit data and applying stress‑test modelling concepts in collaboration with on‑shore and off‑shore teams.

Required profile

• Strong programming skills with hands‑on experience in Python and SQL.
• Experience working with Big Data technologies such as PySpark, Hive, and Hadoop.
• Good understanding of data quality, data consolidation, and analytical processes.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
