Junior Android Software Engineer

About the role

TeamViewer is looking for a motivated Junior Android Software Engineer to join its Frontline solution team. You will help build user‑focused Android applications that support enterprise and industrial workflows on smart glasses, phones, and tablets.

Key responsibilities

• Support design, development, and maintenance of Android apps for enterprise use cases.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code following best practices.
• Collaborate with backend, platform, UX, and product teams to integrate features and ensure smooth functionality across devices.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team discussions.
• Assist throughout the full development lifecycle, from implementation to testing and release, under senior guidance.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of Android development experience (including internships or projects).
• Basic knowledge of Kotlin and the Android SDK; Java familiarity is a plus.
• Understanding of mobile development concepts and willingness to learn modern architectures such as MVVM.
• Interest in testing, debugging, and using version control (Git).
• Fluent English and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
