About the role

Fyld, a Portuguese consulting firm specializing in IT services, is looking for a Java Back‑End Developer who is fluent in English and French. The role involves working on high‑performance financial applications and collaborating with a team that follows a sports‑management philosophy of training and excellence.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java back‑end services using Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Build and optimise relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
Develop RESTful and SOAP web services and ensure robust API design.
Write complex SQL queries, optimise performance and implement caching strategies.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Travis CI.
Deploy applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security, compliance and high availability of financial products.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java back‑end developer.
Fluent in English and French (mandatory).
Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.
