IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software and network services. The role involves troubleshooting issues, installing and maintaining equipment, and supporting users both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely support via phone, email or in‑person for hardware, software and network problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and related peripherals.
• Deploy software applications, patches and driver updates.
• Create, modify and deactivate user accounts, manage passwords and email settings.
• Maintain accurate records of tickets, solutions and inventory.
• Document troubleshooting procedures and user guides.
• Deliver basic training on IT systems, applications and security best practices.
• Use remote access tools to support off‑site users and minimise downtime.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; further technical education or IT certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Experience in a technical support or customer‑service role.
