International Business Developer – Payments/Fintech (Europe)

About the role

NewNote is seeking a hands‑on International Business Developer to grow its presence across Europe. You will work at the core of the electronic payments ecosystem, identifying and closing opportunities with acquirers, payment service providers, ISOs, PayFacs, fintechs and digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business opportunities across European markets.
• Promote and position NewNote’s payment orchestration solutions.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships across the payments value chain.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure.
• Represent NewNote at international meetings, conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to align market needs with solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international business development or complex B2B sales.
• Bachelor’s degree (EQF Level 6) in a relevant field.
• Strong ability to navigate multi‑stakeholder ecosystems.
• Background in technology, fintech or financial services (payments experience in Europe is a plus).
• Fluency in English (mandatory); Portuguese and other European languages are a plus.
• Results‑oriented, autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Availability for frequent international travel and ability to thrive in fast‑paced, multicultural environments.
