Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Epic is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, coordinate, and maintain a multi‑tenant, high‑complexity, enterprise‑scale hosting architecture. The position is based on our campus just outside Madison, WI, and includes relocation assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and operate infrastructure that supports national healthcare systems.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and cloud teams to ensure reliable and secure services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot SAN, backup, virtualization, and Windows environments.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Willingness to relocate to the Madison area (relocation reimbursed).
• Strong interest in enterprise‑scale infrastructure and healthcare technology.
